Privacy

This blog counts its visits anonymously, only to know what gets read. There are no ads, no cookies, and nothing that says who you are.

What is counted

Each page reports that it was viewed, how long it was in view, how far down it was read, which posts in a list came into view and which links were clicked. Also which site you came from (its domain only), the page's language, whether the screen is a phone's, a tablet's or a computer's, and the country Cloudflare gives for the connection.

What isn't

Your IP address is not kept, and neither is any identifier, so two visits can't be linked to each other or to you. Your browser keeps, for itself, the date of your last visit and which posts you have opened, and only says "first visit today", "back after so many days" or "first time on this post". Clearing this site's data clears it.

If your browser asks not to be tracked (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track), nothing is sent. Counts are deleted after 400 days.

Any questions, ask.
